Challenger 3400

Challenger lifts began in Cleveland Ohio in the mid 1970s. In 1990, Delphi Body Works, INC purchased the assets of Challenger and moved the operation to Indiana. Delphi continued to build the 3400 series lifts and in 1998 added the 2900 series lifts. We continue to supply states, cities , counties, heavy rail and light rail systems with high quality personnel lifts both insulated and non-insulated.

The 3400 series comes in three heights 25’, 30’ and 35’ (Working heights of 30-35-40’). It’s design is telescoping with one fixed and four moving sections. The Platform rests atop a king post design with 360 degrees of continuous rotation . Platforms range in size from 4’x12’ to 6’x 16’. With capacities to 1000Lbs. All 3400 series platforms are insulated per ANSI A92.2(2009) and can be rated up to 20 kV. These units are normally mounted on a medium duty chassis with minimum 26000 GVWR.
