Challenger 2900

This lift has articulated booms (2) and includes a traversing platform. It was designed with traffic signal construction and maintenance in mind. The platform is 24’ high with 29’ working height. It has 1500Lbs of capacity and 10’ of side reach on either side of the truck. This unit can be mounted on a chassis as small as 1500Lbs GVWR. It comes standard with 4’x8’ steel platform and available platforms up to 6’x8’. Also available are insulated platforms rated up to 20kV

Most 2900 models are purchased by traffic signal and/or signal departments all over the US. Most are mounted on Ford F450/F550 with 84” CA. These units are extremely useful and safe for maintenance and construction. This combination gives you a big lift in a  compact package. The 2900 also lends itself well to overhead sign installation and maintenance. The side and capacity of the platform (1500Lbs) makes handling large signs or signal heads an easy and safe task. We make special bodies to hold large and awkward signs.  The 2900 options include electric , hydraulic or high pressure air outlets in the platform. Also engine start-stop and emergency lowering form the platform.
